Moving from ensemble to principle roles

I got my start in the musical theatre in the Chicago Theatre community. I will forever be grateful for that experience. I started out as an ensemble player and an understudy. When I was ready for something different, I had to start saying no. I had to push myself to believe that I was capable of a principal track, and I had to wait until someone was willing to take a chance on me too.
