The Golden Handcuffs

When I booked my first Broadway show I was convinced that I would be the happiest I've ever been in my life. I wasn't. I couldn't figure out why. How can achieving a major career milestone still not be enough to make me happy? Have you ever felt like once you achieved this one thing, that then you would finally be "happy"? I had to learn that happiness comes from within. And that knowing the source of my discomfort can help lead me to happiness as well.
